The ConTour Winch SDR25, winner of Best New Product at LDI 2023, is a game changer for designers, technicians, producers and creatives who need to lift, energize and pass control data from a single wire. ADC's proprietary multiconductor flat wire has a load capacity of 50lbs and includes 2x 10A conductors for power and 4x twisted pair data conductors (CAT6) for data.

The ultra reliable electronics in the SDR module are suitable for powering and controlling LED effects, chandeliers, moon boxes, automated lights, video tiles, powered speakers or whatever custom scenic element or prop needing power and control data.

Flexibility and versatility to create and control effects the way you want

The ConTour Winch SDR has a 50Ib dynamic load capacity, a travel speed of 0 - 3ft/sec and 25ft (7.6m} of lift-line travel. Its lightweight, compact size allows the ConTour SDR to fit in tight rigging packs, or to mount completely within the frame of ADC's 14" automation truss making truck pack and load in a breeze.

The SDR module is fully integrated with the Con Tour Winch base unit and can draw 24VDC power and data from the unit directly. For added convenienc, the SDR module also has separate Powercon True 1 and Ethercon inputs and pass through ports. T his flexibility allows you to send power and 10/100 ethernet data to the lifted element independent of the winch's power and data network when needed, giving you greater creative control over your projects.

For installations where multiple lift lines are required, the ConTour Winch CDR Companion Data Reel pairs seamlessly with the Smart Data Reel unit. Using the same flat wire profile as the SDR, the CDR maintains consistent lift speeds and motor synchronization without duplicating expensive electronics. The Con Tour Winch SDR can be controlled via a variety of protocols including Modbus/ TCP, Art-Net, sACN or via the ADC Axis1 Controller.
