Clews
CLEWS are a means of joining three or more lines into one single lift line. Accommodations for up to 24 lines can be provided. A single cord, when pulled, operates the entire group. Clews are capable of supporting approximately 500 lbs. maximum weight.
NOTE: Cables must be secured to the clew with industry-approved thimbles and clamping devices (Models T005, CF-3 (2)).
Notice: Lift component selection is governed by a number of project specific variables such as method of attachment, structural strength of mounting surface and hardware, cable routing, etc. ADC strongly recommends that a third party structural engineer or qualified rigger be consulted for all lift applications. As a component manufacturer, ADC cannot provide assistance with the design or installation of lift systems.
